Looking for fun things to do this summer? The Adventure Dock Co is BACK for the 2019 Season with Liverpool’s most exciting and bounciest outdoor attraction, bang in the heart of the city, perfect for your next family day out, party venue or group activity.

The aqua park is a giant inflatable obstacle course on Duke’s Dock, adjacent to the iconic Royal Albert Dock, on Liverpool’s famous waterfront.

The Adventure Dock course is made up of giant free-fall slides, huge inflatable obstacles, and fun, challenging elements. Our Aqua Park will have you bouncing, splashing and sliding non-stop whilst racing your family and friends around our action packed, fun filled course.

Anyone from the age of 6 years old will be able to jump on to one of our sessions, fully instructed by our Adventure Dock team, ensuring everyone leaves totally wiped our and with huge smiles on their faces!

The Course

Our course is made up of over 50 elements all joined together to create a serious amount of floating fun, challenges, slides, jumps and drops, making our attraction the ideal family day out, with something on offer for all ages (6+)! Mount Rainier will be towering over Albert Dock and is our biggest element – once you have climbed to the top, there are a number of adrenaline fuelled ways to get back to water level! There are a host of Ninja Warrior-style features including the Tire Run, Ninja Jump and Dragon Tail. These will challenge your balance and nerve and if you get them wrong, you can enjoy a big splash.

Don’t worry if you think this all sounds too intimidating, we have a host of tamer features, including the Moon Balls and Risky Business– and we have plenty of Neptune Steps, which allow easy access from the water back onto the aqua park. Our park design includes features for various standards of physical and mental ability, for every gnarly feature we have a mega fun and simple element. You can guarantee parents and children will all come off with a huge smile on their face, with the attraction sure to be a day out in Liverpool that you will never forget!

Group bookings

The Adventure Dock Co is a brilliant venue for a kid’s party, stag and hen do, corporate day out, team challenge or even an epic day out with your friends.

It is also a brilliant facility for schools to mentally and physically challenge their students, with after school clubs and classes for kids also on offer!

Price includes hire of wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet. We suggest you bring a towel and swim trunks / costume with you, but if you forget we do sell these on site at a very good price.

We Open on April 2019 and close on Sunday the 20th October 2019. We are open 5 days a week (Wed -Sun) and you can pre-book your sessions and parties right now! Your session will last 1 hour and includes a 10 minute dry-land safety brief at the start, which means you get 50 minutes of play time.


You will need to bring a towel and swim wear with you. All participants must arrive at least 30 minutes before their allocated time slot to allow time to sign in, get suited up and ready to go for their session.

The Adventure Dock Co is located in-between the Wheel of Liverpool, ACC Liverpool and Albert Dock, right at the heart of Liverpool’s waterfront, making it the ideal venue for a range of occasions.

It is easy to get too as well, no matter how you arrive. You can walk from Liverpool Lime Street, Museum of Liverpool, Cruise Liner Terminal and ACC Liverpool.

If you decide to travel by bus, the C4, C5 and City Link services stop at Albert Dock.

Regional trains also arrive at Liverpool Lime Street from which you can walk or grab a taxi down to us.

If you travel by car, follow signs to Liverpool Waterfront and Albert Dock. There are a host of car parks at Albert Dock and Liverpool ONE car park is less than a 10 minute walk to The Adventure Dock Co, making us the ideal attraction for your next family day out.

Who Can Use the park?

The Adventure Dock Co is a monstrous amount of fun for individuals, friends, families, groups, kids, adults and thrill seekers.

Must I complete the booking online?

We highly recommend that you pre-book online. We have a limited capacity and do not want you to be disappointed.

Do I have to be physically fit to be able to participate?

There are plenty of user-friendly features and our amazing neptune steps make life super easy to get from the water onto the aqua park. You will need to be prepared to get wet, fall in, balance on some features and climb and negotiate around obstacles. You should be moderately fit to take part.

What are the age limits?

You must be aged 6 or above (please note that 6 & 7 year olds must be accompanied by an adult). There is no upper age limit. Children aged between 8 and 15 must have an adult (over 18) sign their terms & conditions.

Where can I store my possessions?

We have lockers on site for participants to store their belongings. Please note that there is a limited number of lockers, and will be on a first come first serve basis. Please bring your own padlock, or purchase one at reception for £5.00

Are there any changing rooms?

There are basic changing facilities on site, however, there will be a limited amount, so please be prepared to wait or change on the dock. Our facilities will include a family changing area and disabled changing room.

Are there showers and toilets on site?

We don’t have access to showers, so treat your trip like a day out to the beach – bring a towel and swimming trunks / costume with you. Be prepared to get wet, dry yourself and get changed again. The closest public toilets are at Albert Dock and less than 175m away.

How long will I be at the park for?

The total time on The Adventure Dock Co experience will be 1 hour, which includes a 10 minute dryland safety brief. You will need 30 minutes before your session to sign in and get ready, then your play time is 1 hour and that is followed by approximately 15 mins to get changed.

Water Quality?

In the 1980s the entire Liverpool south dock system was emptied of water and completely dredged. Since then the south dock system is only used for leisure and tourism and the water quality is very clean. It is well within the EU Bathing Standards and is tested on a monthly basis by our Harbour Master. The Liverpool south dock system plays host to numerous watersports including wakeboarding and waterskiiing, open water swimming, triathlon events, water polo, sailing, canoeing, rowing and many more.

What do I need to bring with me?

You need to bring a towel, swimming costume or swimming trunks and a small padlock with you. Your session price includes the free hire of a wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet. If you do forget your towel or swimming costume, we do sell these at our reception.


When do I need to arrive for my session?

We suggest all participants arrive at least 30 minutes before there session start time, so there is ample time to get your wetsuit and other safety equipment.

Do I need to able to swim?

You need to be able to swim 25m on your own to be allowed on our aqua park.

Do I need a Wetsuit? Can I bring my own?

Yes, you need a wetsuit and yes, you can bring your own if you have one. The price of our sessions includes the free hire of a wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet. If you bring your own wetsuit, there is no additional discount.


Can I bring my own food or drink?

We sell some soft drinks and basic snacks at our reception and there are a host of fantastic restaurants and café’s around Albert Dock, less than a few minutes’ walk away! You can’t eat your own food and drink at our reception and changing area, because there isn’t enough space, but The Adventure Dock Co is surrounded by footpaths and public areas.

Can I cancel my booking?

You can change the date or time of a booking, up to 48 hours prior to the session (subject to availability).  If you cancel your booking more than 48 hours before, you will lose 100% of booking total.

What happens if it’s raining?

Our activities run in all-weather, except those of extreme conditions i.e. lightning and very strong winds. In the event of closure or shortened sessions due to weather, our reception staff will credit your account and rebook you onto another session at your convenience. We know it rains a lot in our British summer and we are the perfect outdoor activity for the rain, because you get wet anyway!

Can I wear shoes?

No trainers, or hard soled shoes are allowed on the aqua park. Most people go on barefooted!
